Under Construction

The title of today's post is so fitting...when I look at my life, the underlying theme is it's under construction.

Now, I'm not sure there'll ever be a time when this isn't the underlying theme, I'm ok with that as long as I'm making progress in the process. I think we all feel there's so much to be done, the difference is starting to do those things. So while I feel a little all over the place in most areas of my life, I find peace in the chaos knowing that I'm working towards long term goals!!! Even tho I wake up each morning like, "What the hell am I doing with my life." If I was in my early twenties this wouldn't be a big deal, but being that I'm pushing dirty thirty...shit gets real FML.

Anyway, Trish and I were in Georgetown and we stumbled into this fenced in area under the bridge. I think it's where they store salt for snow plows because it was everywhere. I loved the feel of it, everything was kinda disheveled and even though the sign said private property, hell I'm a blogger so that made me wanna shoot there even more haha. I absolutely love how these photos came out!!! Trish is so good :)

I've been dying to wear this parka I found a few years ago thrifting. I think it was like 7 bucks. Because the weather here is extremely bipolar, I was able to take it for a spin today. I don't know about everyone else, but this winter (aka "spring" now, but not really) is getting on my damn nerves! I'm so ready for it to be consistently warm...I know I keep talking about it but I can't help it. NAKED...that's how I like to be. Ok maybe not naked but as close to naked as I can be without going to jail for indecent exposure.

They're calling for snow on Tuesday...so basically I'm going to have a drink now, and I'm not sure you'd want me to continue writing. Yea, that wouldn't be a good idea....so bye.
