Even though it's still a little cold, it's officially the first day of spring. I don't know about ya'll, but I'm going through serious heat withdrawal. I'm a summer baby so we need ample amounts of vitamin D. I'm so yearning for the day I can put on a bikini and just roast in the sun. Anyway, in the meantime I'll have to settle for wearing amazing vintage jackets like this one.
Now, lately I've been super wholesome in my wardrobe selection. While I'm typically more conservative in the cooler months, I'll soon be done with the whole "impress your mama look" lol. I found a new seamstress whose sole responsibility is to create the chicest look possible, using the least amount fabric as possible. So bye bye Mrs. Nice Gal...It's time to spice it up lil bit. I had to find a seamstress because, unless it's just me, I can never find things online or in store these days.
I can't wait to start my second Spring/Summer of exploring the city. Last year I visited new neighborhoods and places I've never been here in DC. There are so many places I've yet to visit so I'll be checking more of those off my list. I'm gonna need it to get a little warmer though because I'm still protesting the cold. Just thought I'd put you in a Spring state of mind with this post.
