No Fuss

Happy Monday guys. So I'll start off with my usual unrelated rambling then move on to this look. I've mentioned this a million times but I'm a no fuss kind of girl when it comes to everyday life. It's either sweats and tee or all out dressed up. By no means do I dress up everyday because I just don't feel the need to. I'll hit the streets with no makeup, looking slam like I rolled out of bed in a heartbeat. That's just me.

There's no rule that says because I'm a blogger I have to walk out the house everyday trying to impress the world. I'm no different than any of you reading this. With that being said, I'm such an advocate for personal style because in my opinion it's a great way to express yourself. My love of thrifting and creating looks for little money is me expressing the cost of things doesn't equate to style. Style is like it's own language, it translates no matter knowing the sum of it's parts, it's an appreciation of composition. I've never been impressed by labels, and sure if I was rich I could afford nicer things, but that wouldn't change my eye in terms of style.

Anyway, I decided to dress up a few comfy pieces in this look. I live in this Nasty Gal cardigan, so I threw it on with a thrifted midi length cotton/wool blend skirt, and a pair of Zara boots. I scored my moto in Italy at a vintage shop. I'm headed back to Europe in May so I'll be hunting for more vintage while I'm there. I'll tell you more about that trip soon! Sometimes these easy outfits are best because I can easily throw on sneakers and run around with Chase comfortably, I love that.

I have random weeks where I decide to take a break from social media. Mainly when I need to focus on personal things but also because I think it's healthy. You don't realize how much time it takes up and it's important to focus on you without distractions. So this week I've decided to give up social media, I can't say that I'll miss you guys because I actually enjoy these breaks. So see you next week, I'll be refreshed and ready to go! Have a great week xx
