Mint Condition

Last Friday a few local bloggers and I headed to Old Town Alexandria to check out some pretty awesome boutiques. Although I don't go to Virginia often, after discovering the gems that are hidden there, I'll definitely be making my way across the bridge. I especially loved consignment shop Mint Condition!

It probably comes as no surprise that my boutique of choice was a consignment shop. Although there were other amazing boutiques we visited, this one is right up my alley. Not only can you score designer pieces at amazing prices. Consignment is a great way to revamp your wardrobe or make a few bucks getting rid of things you no longer wear. I was so impressed with the selection at Mint, they have so many options and all of their inventory is in great condition.

When I spotted this Ports 1961 jacket it was love at first sight, I had to take it home with me! It would've been so easy for me to do a lot of damage, I wanted everything but I showed restraint haha. This piece is definitely something that will get year round wear. The belt is pretty awesome too, I've already been playing around with adding it to other pieces in my closet.

The boutique itself is so cute, separated by garment type with shoes primarily on the second level. They also have accessories and handbags, I had my eye on these Chanel sandals, if only they were my size :(

Toni, the owner is super sweet! I got a chance to chat with her and talk a little about the store. I was too lazy to undress and try anything on, so I slipped this Helmet Lang dress on over my clothes. It actually created a really cute look, I might just wear it like this one day.

Anyway, I love discovering new boutiques. Especially local boutiques because I'm an advocate of supporting small businesses. If you're ever in Old Town, stop by Mint Condition and check it out. Tell them Krystin sent you xoxo
